NYE Information and FAQs

Here is some important information and some answers to some frequently asked questions about the NYE Festival.

Please read through them before attending the event.

Are there any tickets left?

Sorry, no. Tickets were on sale for 40 days before they sold out. We have a strict limit on our capacity for this event so we cannot sell any more.

Bringing alcohol

As this is a licensed event it is not possible for you to bring your own alcohol. Any drinks will be removed by security at the entrance. We do of course have a very reasonably priced bar inside the venue.

Is ID required?

This is an over 18 licensed event so if you are blessed with youthful looks then please bring suitable photo ID (PASS accredited cards eg Citizen Card, driving license, passport.)

Public Transport and driving.

Full public transport, location map and driving details are can be found here. If you do plan to drive a Parking Pass will need to be booked in advance so you can park in our private on site car park - there is no parking permitted in local streets.

Event Times

Open: 18:00 (31st December 2011)

Last Entry: 02:00 (1st January 2012)

Close: 06:00 (1st January 2012)

When arriving at and leaving the site please be respectful of the local area and residents. We want to be able to do more events like this in the future and the ability to do so largely lies in your hands, if you can show that you are a lovely bunch of respectful citizens (aka coconuts) as we know you are, then we can throw many more amazing events in amazing locations.

NO RE-ENTRY Once you have entered the party if you choose to leave for any reason you will not be allowed back in.

Food & Stalls

‘Exotic Tagine’ will be coming down to serve up hot and super yummy Moroccan cuisine through out the night with food ranging from a full blown meal for around £7 to lil warm snacky things £1.50-£3.

Get down early and join us for dinner

As well as the usual ‘Wonderland Bakery’ serving up the tastiest of home made cakes and tea and ‘ALAN-allsorts’ sorting you out with..well…allsorts! coffee, sweeties, and crazy funk for your head, face arms, t-shirts and where ever else you can find to stick it.

Bar

We will be operating a fully licensed bar throughout the night serving water, soft drinks, cold beer and cider, a variety of spirits, red and white wine and warm n scrumptious mulled wine and cider for that proper festive feel. We will also be selling tobacco and cigarettes at the bar.

Cash

Cash back will be available from the bar.

Cloakroom

There will be a reasonably priced cloakroom for your coats, bags and other paraphernalia.

Heating

The tents will be heated but please don’t forget this is going to be the middle of winter and it may be extremely cold outside. We have no doubt all you guys partying hard are going to make it all lovely and warm and you may get a little sweaty, but sweaty people going out into ice cold temperatures is not good for your health, please keep this in mind and dress accordingly. Also make sure you are dressed warm when you are travelling to and from the venue…again….going to be chilly!

Toilets

There will be toilets and urinals onsite including a disabled toilet.

Will there be flooring in the tents?

Yes, the main dance tents will have wooden flooring throughout, as will the paths connecting the tents - there will be softer carpeting in the chill out tents.

Rules - sorry we have to have a few...

Please do not bring any of the following things as they will be taken off you if found and you may be denied entry:

Drugs
Alcohol
Knifes / weapons
Fire works / Sparklers
Glass of any kind (apart from the ones you wear on your head so you can see!)
Spray cans / marker pens

We reserve the right to refuse entry without refund.

Fairies and/or pixies will pursue anyone seen leaving the site without any trace of glitter…you have been warned!
